Houston ( 3/17/2009 ) - John Harrower named Senior Vice President, Operations, AMEC Houston

AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, announced today that AMEC Paragon has named John Harrower to the newly-created position of Senior Vice President, Operations, for AMEC’s oil & gas business in the Americas. Harrower will be responsible for project management, engineering, commercial contracts, procurement/materials management and project controls.

Previously, Harrower served as Commercial Vice President for AMEC Paragon, the Houston-based oil and gas business unit of AMEC Natural Resources Americas. Prior to joining AMEC Paragon in 2006, he served as Project Manager for Fluor.

Harrower holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. He has more than twenty years of experience in the energy industry.
