Continuing its global expansion efforts, Paragon Engineering Services, Inc. moved into the newly completed addition to its Houston headquarters, the company announced today.
Paragon President Jim Gattis said the expansion is indicative of Paragon’s long-term commitment to the industry.
"This major expansion allows for Paragon's continued growth,” Gattis said. "The new space will accommodate large integrated project teams while maintaining easy access to Paragon's large array of technical experts. In addition, we have more capacity to hire additional well-qualified professionals and acquire more equipment to help fulfill industry’s long-term expectations and continue being a leader in our sector, particularly in the international arena,” he said.
Located along the energy corridor just east of the Sam Houston Tollway at 10777 Clay Road, the site has been home to Paragon Engineering Services, Inc. since the original headquarters building was completed in November 1998.
Paragon will share the new 118,300 square-foot wing, which is attached to the existing building, with Stolt Offshore. Paragon plans to occupy approximately half of the new space, with the other half serving as Houston headquarters for Stolt Offshore.
The addition, which took about 17 months to construct, follows the same architectural plan as the first building. The expansion design also included the addition of a two-level parking garage.
Houston-based Metro National developed the campus for Paragon, while Houston-based Tellepsen Solutions and Kimberley Partners constructed and financed the expansion, respectively. Morris Architects, Inc. designed the facility. |
