Houston ( 1/23/2006 ) - AMEC Paragon wins FileNet Innovation Award for Second Consecutive Year

Unprecedented honor recognizes the best in results-driven enterprise software solutions

For the second consecutive year, AMEC Paragon has received the FileNet Innovation Award for best Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution. Presented during FileNet’s 2005 UserNetTM conference in Las Vegas, the award recognizes organizations that are using FileNet technology to create outstanding software applications and achieve noteworthy business results for their customers.

This year’s entries were judged by a panel of industry analysts, press, consultants and FileNet senior executives. AMEC Paragon’s winning solution is a document management system that manages the complete document lifecycle. It was specifically tailored to efficiently manage large volumes of electronic project documents, including client deliverables and all supporting documents, via a secure, interactive web-based reporting and retrieval system.

“FileNet is a key component in AMEC Paragon’s strategy of Distributed Engineering,” said Carl Sikes, AMEC Paragon’s Vice President of Engineering. “This award exemplifies the company’s commitment to be a model of excellence by providing the highest quality content management solution.”

AMEC Paragon’s solution represents a powerful differentiator that improves quality and that can have considerable cost and schedule advantages. The software system’s ability to integrate common project functions has been indispensable in maintaining data integrity, improving efficiency and achieving fast-track progress. It has been implemented on several projects and was key in AMEC Paragon’s ability to secure a multi-million dollar contract with a major client.

“Winning this international, industry-recognized award is another example of what positions AMEC Paragon as one of the leaders in its field,” said Marc-Henri Cerar, AMEC Paragon’s Manager of Project IT. “Our customers also win because FileNet delivers project documents worldwide, in real time. They can load data directly into the system of their choice, eliminating cumbersome manual document loading and enabling a continuous project handover and closeout process.”
