Responding to the oil and gas industry's broadening
environmental and regulatory consciousness as well as operators'
increasing need to outsource key project functions, AMEC Paragon
has assembled an environmental services team to support the worldwide
design, procurement, inspection, and construction management efforts
of the oil and gas industry.
AMEC Paragon's environmental scientists and
engineers are intimately familiar with the regulatory requirements
for energy projects. They are able to prepare concise applications
and packages for the agencies that expedite the review process and
allow us to meet the tight time constraints often associated with
these projects.
Additionally, working directly with in-house
project engineers allows us to address potentially sensitive environmental
issues as they are identified and before they result in costly delays.
This also ensures our clients that the design is in compliance with
all permit and regulatory requirements.
The senior members of the environmental group
have an average of 25 years industry experience and our areas of
expertise include air quality; waster quality and water resources;
threatened and endangered species; habitat assessment; wetland delineation;
marine and estuarine ecology; oceanography; and wetland mitigation.
We have also established a network of outside resources.
AMEC Paragon's environmental services group
specializes in the preparation of documentation and applications
required to obtain agency approval/permits for domestic and international
energy projects.
